Back from New Orleans

Sunshine Cindy and I have made it back from NOLA. The Pardi Gras Trop Rock event was a blast. We had good weather and the good times did roll.

The French Quarter from the top of Tropical Isle

Friends from Destin and all over the country converged on the French Quarter for four days of Trop Rock music. We partied from all the Tropical Isle locations to Margaritaville to the Bourbon Orleans bar. In addition we would find other watering holes to meet at and tell lies. We spent a lot of time at Johnny White’s Hole in the Wall bar. We also found a neighborhood spot a block from our hotel. All places were fun.

The French Quarter was full of people all weekend. It was a holiday weekend so you had more people staying the entire weekend. Restaurants, bars and the clubs were all staying busy. The economy of the city of New Orleans has come back strong.
